After beginning as Vogue’s Style Editor in 1992, Mr. Bowles was promoted to European Editor at Large in 1995 and to International Editor at Large in 2011 – a role that includes overseeing all interior design features, writing profile stories, and covering fashion and contemporary culture, as well as the history of fashion and style. In 2016 Mr. Bowles was Special Consultant to the blockbuster film Ocean’s 8. He is Trustee of the American Ballet Theater and was Director of the prestigious Green Carpet Fashion Awards (2019, 2020).
