Andrea Venturini

After school, Andrea had a stint working as a sailor: ‘It was during that time, observing from the sea to the coast, that I began to see the world differently,’ he reflects. Now a photographer, he feels the same sense of pespectival yearning, and the same love for ‘intriguing unknowns’, as he did then – probing, from page 242, the hidden depths of Peppino Dore. ‘Despite lacking designs, his clarity of vision is astounding.’
